Canadian DJ & Beat Maker Waxwork has been showcasing his diverse appreciation for all styles of music since buying his first set of turntables in 1998. A staple of the Vancouver DJ scene, he could be found spinning up to 5 times a week, since arriving in 2001, Over the years, he’s had promo campaigns with Nike and Adidas; recorded a promo CD for a major real estate development (including artist in residence studios); had a popular show for more than 2 years on Paris-based web-radio platform Raptz Radio; his remixes & edits have been featured on dozens of radio shows and podcasts including BBC6’s Craig Charles Funk & Soul Radio Show;played a DJ on 2 international network TV shows; and has held long-term residencies at over 20 venues around the city with styles ranging from Funk and Soul, to Hip Hop, to Reggae, to Nu Disco & House.
