Canadian DJ & Beat Maker Waxwork has been showcasing his diverse appreciation for all styles of music since buying his first set of turntables in 1998. A staple of the Vancouver DJ scene, he could be found spinning up to 5 times a week, since arriving in 2001, Over the years, he’s done promo campaigns with Nike and Adidas; recorded a promo CD for a large-scale property development (including artist in residence studios); had a popular mix show on Paris-based web-radio platform Raptz Radio for over 2 years; had his remixes & edits featured on dozens of radio shows and podcasts including BBC6’s Craig Charles Funk & Soul Radio Show; he’s appeared (as a DJ) on 2 international network TV shows; and he’s held long-term residencies at over 20 venues around the city in various styles ranging from Funk & Soul, to Hip Hop, Reggae, Nu Disco & House.
